Here’s What Fouled Spark Plugs Look Like | Running Too Rich

I wanted to do a post showing how badly fouled the spark plugs were on the project 72 Mustang. These plugs were barely used in this vehicle. They fell victim to the improperly sized 4BBL double pumper carburetor I had installed on the car previously. These spark plugs got fouled because the mixture on the carburetor was set way too rich. Rich running engines have spark plugs that smell like gasoline. These spark plugs are the NGK-R (Resistor Style) spark plugs for the small block ford 302 roller engine.
